The City of Cherry Hills Village is located in Arapahoe County, Colorado and just south of Denver. The City has a total area of 6.3 square miles with numerous parks and trails, shopping areas and restaurants, and more than one country clubs call Cherry Hills Village home. It has its own City Council, police and fire departments and is considered one of the most affluent places in Colorado. City boundaries are basically Hampden to Belleview on the North and South, and Clarkson on the West to Happy Canyon/Monaco on the East.
Cherry Hills Village is definitely a beautiful part of the Metro Area. Property lot sizes are a minimum of one-half acre and the area in general is predominantly residential with one public elementary school and two private schools. Rural in some areas, equestrian properties are found here and spotting wild life is not an unusual experience, yet Cherry Hills Village is still very close to the cultural center of Denver. It’s also close to the business centric Denver Technologic Center, and is easily within commuting distance to downtown Denver’s central business district. Home styles range from older 3000 square foot ranches to 10,000+ square foot homes which have been custom built and feature many custom amenities.
